Our philosophy is to hand make and sell fine wines at a quality to excite our patrons and to improve all our lives through wine, food and conviviality.
Our History
The vineyard was established in 1999 with our first vintage in 2006. With multiple trophies and other awards behind us, our wines are extremely well sought after throughout Australia.
We organically grow Grenache, Mourvedre, Graciano, Tempranillo, Shiraz, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon while we source neighbour's Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc to make our Fume Blanc.
Our wines are hand crafted delights bottled under the ‘bakkheia’ label. Small quantities and small batch winemaking keep us focused on quality and exciting distinct wines. The Vigneron is also the grape grower and the winemaker. We are perfecting those varieties that were destined to be enjoyed with food.
With only 1000-1200 cases bottled each year, availability is extremely limited and only through direct sales through our wine list. For those wishing to join our exclusive list we would be delighted to have you inquire.
